On-campus dining offerings at the University of Arkansas set the standard for excellence in educational food service, with a quality of food and ambience that would be the envy of most colleges and universities nationwide. Chartwells Campus Dining Services operates three residence dining centers, the Arkansas Union food court, RZ’s Coffee House, Peabody Perks, Cole Café and Club Red Convenience Stores – all offering students, faculty and staff a wide variety of choices that help turn ordinary meals into extraordinary experiences.
Unique meal plans are available to custom fit the eating habits of students who live on campus or those who commute to campus. As an added benefit, a majority of the meal plan options include flex dollars to purchase food, beverages, and meals for guests at any of the campus eateries.
Diverse cuisine options in the Pomfret, Brough and Northwest Quad dining centers include an all-you-care-to-eat buffet of home-style entrees, ethnic and vegetarian selections, fresh-made deli sandwiches, pizzas, pastas, salad and fruit bars, and desserts. Premium nights feature steak and shrimp, cookouts and theme dinners. Brough Commons also has two new dining options: Quiznos and Zona Mexicana.
The Arkansas Union Market features national food brands Chick-Fil-A and Burger King Express, along with proven signature concepts such as Mamma Leone’s, Sub Generation, and the Diner. Late night service in the Union Market is available to meal plan holders Monday through Friday, from 5 to 11 p.m.
For gourmet coffee and tea, pastries, soups and sandwiches, and sushi, RZ’s Coffee House, Peabody Perks, and Cole Café are just the place. For those craving a taste of Seattle, a Starbucks is now open at Brough Commons.
