The 222-bed Northwest Medical Center – Springdale has been a significant medical resource in the area for more than 50 years. The hospital excels in such areas as cardiac care, emergency services, surgery, senior health, cancer care, rehabilitation and neurosurgery, and is home to northwest Arkansas’s largest and most experienced Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
Offering quality acute medical, surgical, psychiatric and outpatient care to thousands of veterans located in a 23-county area, the VA Medical Center in Fayetteville is dedicated to providing only the best in medical services to those who have served our country over the years. Notable services cover areas such as mental health, nutrition, primary care, specialty care, surgery, women’s health and more.
The recently expanded, 366-bed Washington Regional Medical Center is an acute-care hospital offering the latest in medical equipment, technology and techniques and is home to the Johnelle Hunt Women’s Center and the Walker Family Heart and Vascular Institute. The medical center is also equipped with a rehabilitation hospital, assisted living and long-term care facilities, an outpatient surgery center, kidney dialysis centers and a substantial system of healthcare clinics and a wide range of services.
Numerous other hospitals and clinics are found in and around the area, rounding out the outstanding healthcare community of the Northwest Arkansas region.
