Since it’s opening in 2003, within the University of Arkansas’ historic Carnall Hall (further information regarding the history of Carnall Hall can be located in the Lodging section), Ella’s Restaurant has become the area’s premier spot for affordable gourmet dining. Composed of three separate dining areas, the restaurant’s delicious fare includes flavorful breakfast, lunch and dinner menus—complemented by an extraordinary wine list, select coffees and mouthwatering desserts that are hard to pass up even after a filling meal.
For breakfast, diners enjoy classic and specialty omelets, buttermilk pancakes, french toast and biscuits and gravy, while the lunch menu is packed with salads, sandwiches and several specialties including fresh seafood and pasta. Ella’s dinner menu is teeming with choice selections. Start with a palatable appetizer before moving on to such succulent dishes as N.Y. strip steak, rib eye, blackened tuna or sage crusted salmon.
