The residential experience is a vital component of the larger Albertson College of Idaho experience. It is for this reason students are required to live on campus for the first two years, with many students choosing to remain on campus for their entire college career.
Residence halls are not only a place to live, they are a place to grow. Living on campus gives you the best opportunity to become immersed in the dynamic and exciting Albertson College community. The residential environment fosters campus-wide relationships, strengthened lifelong friendships, the achievement of academic goals and enriched campus experiences. Your time at college will be more rewarding if you get involved by participating in the campus housing community.
At Albertson College of Idaho, your out-of-classroom education is just as important as your in-classroom education. The college’s residential programs are created to nurture the development as a whole person. Through activities, relationships with roommates and other community members, and leadership opportunities you will develop a greater understanding of yourself and your connection to the world around you.
The campus has four coed residence halls with both single and double rooms available. Juniors and seniors have the option of living in a traditional residence hall or in one of two on-campus apartment buildings. The freshman class lives in one residence hall as part of the first year experience. All halls are equipped with full kitchens, at least one computer lab, a laundry room, and common lounges. All rooms have their own air conditioning and heating units.
