ACI students are just as competitive on the playing field as they are in the classroom. With 18 intercollegiate sports, there are plenty of opportunities to get in the game as a team member or as a screaming ‘Yote fan. The college competes in the NAIA in men’s and women’s soccer, long distance running, track and field, swimming, skiing, snowboarding, basketball and golf, men’s baseball and women’s volleyball, softball and tennis. Students also have the option of participating in the intramural program or on the club lacrosse teams. An alternative to organized sports, and an opportunity to explore Idaho’s great outdoors, can be found in the Outdoor Program. The OP is a student-run program that provides equipment, training, and guided trips into Idaho’s wilderness. Activities include rock climbing, kayaking, hiking, mountain biking, camping, and white-water rafting.
