Albertson College of Idaho Alumni

As the only permanent members of the college community, Albertson College of Idaho alumni are the lifeblood of the institution. Any person earning 24 or more credits at the college is considered an alumnus of the institution. Nearly 10,000 alumni are invited to maintain contact with the college by participating in the National Alumni Association, which sponsors activities and programs designed to serve as a link between alumni and the college, its students and friends.

The association is governed by a volunteer board of directors that is currently under reorganization. There are several committees chaired by board members that help support the goals of the college and provide services and communication to alumni.

The National Alumni Association coordinates numerous events throughout the year that engage alumni of all ages with the college. Some of these events include:

• Homecoming: Fall Homecoming Awards Banquet, the annual meeting of the association and class or affinity reunions.

• Regional Events: Off-campus programs for alumni, parents and friends. These include dinners before athletic events, programs with campus speakers or gatherings for potential students.

• Half Century Society: An organization that meets monthly consisting of alumni who have graduated 50 years ago or more.

• Chapter Programs: Some chapters meet monthly, some annually.

• Senior Banquet: Hosted by the National Alumni Association, this banquet in May honors graduating seniors.
