Career Technologies

Be Career Ready in two years!

One of the great options available at Kishwaukee College is in the area of Career Technologies. The programs that are offered in Career Technologies can be completed in one year if the student opts for a skill specific certificate program or can be completed in two years if the student chooses a full Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree. Whichever students choose, they have the training that prepares them for a fulfilling career, in just a couple of years!

Occupational programs are designed with real work experience built in. There are certainly classroom experiences, but these are directed toward practical applications the students will use in their chosen fields. Most degree programs include internship opportunities that often turn into jobs for the students. Occupational programs are also closely attuned with the latest requirements in their fields and structure their curriculum based on input from area experts who serve on advisory committees for the programs.
