New Student Services

New Student Services serves prospective and new students and their families. The services, activities, and programs offered are designed to provide information and support for students to make a successful transition to the K-State community.Admissions representatives communicate to prospective students, their families, and educational personnel about academic programs and student life opportunities. Events are held throughout the academic year for future students to visit the campus.

The campus visit program provides not only individual campus tours to prospective students and their families, but also special tours for groups and community and civic organizations. Student guides conduct tours of the campus throughout the year.

Orientation and enrollment is a program that welcomes new students and their families. Programs are held prior to the start of each semester and include information about student life, academic success, and procedures and policies. Wildcat Warm-up is the optional, extended orientation offered for new freshmen.

The Presidential Lecture Series offers presentations at no charge to schools and community groups. The series makes our most stimulating faculty members available to share their expertise.

The Parents and Family Association is a resource for parents and family members to stay connected with K-State through free and automatic membership.
