Religious Activities

Young adulthood is an excellent time for people to explore a vital part of who they are: their spiritual faith. Kansas State University offers countless opportunities for members of the university to engage people who can help to:

• Strengthen the positive aspects of a good foundation of faith that was an important part of the person when he or she arrived at K-State.

• Investigate a variety of faith traditions to offer intelligent options for developing beliefs and to help people appreciate the diversity of other belief systems.

• Meet others to share the spiritual journey.

In addition to an academic approach (see consider.k-state.edu/clubs/religion.htm for a sample of available courses), members of the K-State community can meet campus pastors and other leaders who represent a wide variety of religions and other expressions of spirituality. Campus pastors are excellent resources to help with spiritual choices and to offer support in times of crisis.

Scores of on-campus religious organizations and worshiping congregations in the Manhattan area welcome members of K-State. See consider.k-state.edu/clubs/churches.htm.

Two memorial chapels on campus—Danforth and All Faiths—are available for worship services, weddings, and private meditation.
