Mayor’s Letter
Greetings and welcome to Manhattan, a wonderful place to live, work, and raise a family. Our community offers many amenities usually found in cities much larger, while maintaining the warmth and friendliness of small-town Kansas. Kansas State University brings sporting events, cultural events, and world-renowned lecturers to our front door and invites the community to take advantage of these opportunities.
Manhattan has enjoyed significant growth over the past few years. This has brought us improved shopping, entertainment, and dining opportunities, with much more planned over the next few years. Our town is changing and improving every week, and we look forward to showing you all we have to offer. Whether you stay for a few months, a few years, or a lifetime, I am sure you will fall in love with the beauty of the Flint Hills and the people of Manhattan.
