
TigerTech serves as a full-service computer reseller, offering educational pricing to University of Missouri students, faculty and staff. In partnership with MizzouIT, TigerTech provides Mizzou students with a one-stop technology resource. As an educational reseller, TigerTech, located in Brady Student Commons, receives special pricing on products that are not offered to the general public. The top priority at TigerTech is to help students select an affordable, user-friendly tool that will assist them in virtually any program of study at Mizzou. In addition to your purchasing needs, staff at TigerTech also assist with computer service and support. Mizzou IT offers a Tech Desk right in our store to help you with basic problems that may arise. If there is a hardware problem that involves more than a “quick-fix,” check it into our service department where it will be diagnosed and repaired by certified technicians.

You tell us your major, we’ll tell you what computer is recommended. Each department provides TigerTech with computer specifications that meet the needs of each department. With these recommendations, the TigerTech staff can make appropriate recommendations to students who have decided on a major. While some programs have very specific requirements, others simply rely on a loose description of minimum specifications. Please see a TigerTech representative for

Student Purchase Plan
How the plan works: The Computer Purchase Plan is based on four payments. The first payment is charged to your University of Missouri student account on the day that you receive your computer. We will then charge your account the remaining three payments over the next three semesters. (We do not bill during the summer sessions.) TigerTech’s Administrative fee is a simple 7.8% of the purchase price, which is a one-time charge added to your total; there is no accruing interest from TigerTech. A short application must be filled out for approval.
Computer Service
If you are having troubles with your laptop or need to get your wireless network set up, just bring it in to the Tech Desk. The Tech Desk in TigerTech is operated by MizzouIT Department and can perform basic troubleshooting as well as answer questions to resolve any issues you may have.
Service Department
If your computer requires a hardware repair, the tech desk can
check the machine into our service department, where certified
technicians can properly diagnose and fix any hardware/virus/
spyware problems you may have. TigerTech is certified to fix all of the computers that it sells, so if you need a repair that is covered by
warranty there will be no charge associated. If your machine is out
of warranty, or your repair does
not fall within your warranty
specifications, TigerTech can
still perform the repair for an
hourly fee.
