Students won’t find a better facility in the world than what they’ve got right here at Mizzou. The newly renovated and expanded Student Recreation Complex offers everything students need to maintain a healthy and active lifestyle.

Membership has its privileges when it comes to our comprehensive list of programs. We offer a variety of programs and services to accommodate the many lifestyles of our students and members. From our innovative group exercise program, TigerX, to RecSports leagues, tournaments and special events, MizzouRec provides individuals and groups with the highest quality leisure opportunities in the nation. Be sure to check out all we have to offer, as there is truly something for everyone.

Several different leisure neighborhoods give the new Recreation Complex a distinct personality. Inviting and welcoming to all its visitors, the streets of Downtown Brewer mimic the charm of our own downtown Columbia. The Jungle Gym is a college playground, complete with an array of cardio and weightlifting stations, all situated in front of flat screen televisions.

The indoor track will keep your running workout moving around a 1/6-mile loop above 10 sport courts that are equipped for everything from badminton to basketball. The complex offers racquetball, table tennis, rock climbing, cycling and weightlifting on the bottom floor. Don't forget about the outdoor amenities; Stankowski Field features a multi-lane 1/3-mile track around three sports fields, perfect for flag football, Ultimate Frisbee and many other recreational activities.

The Mizzou Aquatic Center features diving platforms, springboards and a 50-meter competitive pool, with moveable bulkheads and floor, which can alter length and depth. This pool was the site of the 2007 Missouri Grand Prix, where Olympian Michael Phelps broke the world record for the 200m-butterfly event.

During warmer months, students can relax at Truman’s Pond, a resort-style pool with plenty of room to lie out in the sun or take a dip. If the weather is cooler, the resort atmosphere continues indoors with the Tiger Grotto, featuring a vortex pool, waterfall and giant flat screen TV, showing sporting events all summer long.

Tiger Grotto also features a hot tub, spa and steam room just a few steps away from our pool.

When you hear that the Mizzou Rec Complex is a world-class facility, don’t just take our word for it. Sports Illustrated On Campus awarded us Best Student Rec Facility in the Nation and the National Intramural-Recreation Sports Association named us as a First Place Outstanding Sports Facility.
