The MU Career Center allows students to explore occupations, gain experience, prepare for the job search and pursue careers after school. Students from all majors can receive advice and guidance in person from our friendly staff and online 24 hours a day. The Career Center staff strive to assist all MU students, reaching an increasingly diverse population with a variety of career interests.
Need a part-time job?
Students seeking part-time jobs can visit the Career Center, located on Lowry Mall, for assistance with
finding part-time jobs both on and
off campus, work-study positions and volunteer opportunities.
Still Deciding?
The MU Career Center will give you the tools to explore career options and subsequent academic majors.
You may talk with a Career Specialist, complete a career assessment, research Mizzou degree programs
and learn more about possible
occupations. You may also work with a Career Counselor who will provide ongoing individual assistance with your career planning.
Resume Building Skills
Once a student knows what they want to do, they often need assistance perfecting a resume and cover letter. Career Center staff teach students how to communicate effectively with employers and offer mock interviews as a chance to hone
interview skills and
improve professional
