Office of International Student Services
The mission of the Office of International Student Services (ISS) is to enhance the international student experience and to facilitate cross-cultural understanding within Case. ISS strives to support the personal and academic pursuits of international students (and their families) throughout their entire stay by promoting social, cultural and educational programs that will help them adjust to a new university, community and country. While primarily involved in academic issues and immigration policies and procedures, ISS is also a resource for students dealing with personal problems, housing issues and financial and legal matters.
In an effort to successfully achieve our mission, ISS collaborates with other administrative and academic departments. To minimize the difficulties that students may experience, ISS:
• Maintains close ties with all admissions offices and academic departments of Case.
• Protects the interests of Case and its international students by remaining knowledgeable about immigration issues and advises students and University personnel according to regulations.
• Encourages other University departments to offer programs and activities that promote intercultural exchange and enrich the Case campus community.
• Provides international students with specialized services, such as leadership training, designed to assist them in contributing to the international dimension of our campus.
