IT Operations Group

The Student Affairs IT Operations Group provides comprehensive IT management, support and services to the staff, departments and programs of the Division of Student Affairs. Our day-to-day management of computers, printers, servers and the division website allows division staff to spend more of their time offering services to students. In addition to projects to enhance productivity of staff, the group also partners with other departments to support IT services offered to students, such as providing support for the maintenance of the residential network or the development of custom applications like the new student checklist.

We maintain a variety of public computing facilities including the Thwing CyberCafe, Plain Dealer Electronic Learning Center, the commuter computer lab, Multicultural Affairs computer lounge, TRiO program classrooms, video information displays and walk-up computer kiosks located in residence halls and residential commons. One of the most popular programs is Print2Here, which provides networked printers in convenient locations across campus that can be accessed by members of the campus community using their CaseOneCard. Registered undergraduate students receive 500 free pages per semester.
