MUSEUMS
The Children’s Museum of Cleveland: Dedicated to children eight and under, the Children’s Museum of Cleveland is teeming with exceptional interactive exhibits and programs promoting overall child development through creative play.
The Cleveland Museum of Natural History: One of the most revered museums of its type on the continent, the Cleveland Museum of Natural History houses a collection of more than five million artifacts and specimens, more than 140 educational programs and more. Some of the top features visitors have access to include the “Lucy” exhibit – a skeletal cast of a 3.2-million-year-old human ancestor – the 2.2-acre Perkins Wildlife Center and Woods Garden, the Shafran Planetarium, the Mueller Observatory and the Wade Gallery, which is lined with more than 1,500 gems and minerals.
Great Lakes Science Center: This comprehensive, 165,000-square-foot facility is teeming with more than 400 hands-on exhibits and an abundance of daily demonstrations and educational programming. Main highlights at the Great Lakes Science Center – which is one of the largest interactive museums dedicated to science in the U.S. – include Science Phenomena, Environment and Technology exhibits, the nine-story Gund Wintergarden and the 14,000-square-foot OMNIMAX theater.
Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum: Hailing as the world’s sole facility devoted to the living history of rock and roll, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum stands as one of Cleveland’s most popular attractions. Spanning more than 150,000 square feet, patrons can partake in interactive exhibits, view revolving displays from the Museum’s permanent collection featuring an array of artifacts and memorabilia and much more.
The Western Reserve Historical Society Museum: Take a peek into northeastern Ohio’s rich heritage through a wealth of historical artifacts and exhibits. Features include the Hay-McKinney Mansion and the Chisholm Halle Costume Wing, along with the Crawford Auto-Aviation Museum.

OUTDOOR ATTRACTIONS
Cleveland Botanical Garden: Take a walk through 10 acres of gardens, including the esteemed Hershey Children’s Garden, or the 18,000-square-foot Eleanor Armstrong Smith Glasshouse highlighting two biomes containing more than 350 species of plants and 50 species of animals and insects. This beautiful year-round area is nestled within University Circle.
Cleveland Cultural Gardens: Established in order to recognize Cleveland’s diversity, the Cleveland Cultural Gardens features 27 gardens representing the area’s ethnic communities.
