Athletics and School Spirit

Wright State Mascot

RAIDER ROWDIES is a group of students who help coordinate efforts to spread the word about games and other athletic events. They cheer together at the games. From body and face painting to signs and balloons, this group has become the basketball team’s “sixth man.”

THE SPIRIT UNIT consists of the Cheerleaders, Dance Team and Mascot! They are visible at all home basketball games; selected away basketball games; select soccer games; community service events; and conference, regional and national competitions. The unit not only prides themselves on giving 100 percent at practices, games and competitions, but on the high academic standards they set for themselves in the classroom!
