AMERICAN HUMANICS STUDENT ASSOCIATION helps you make a difference in your community. AHSA is part of a national organization that develops leaders in the nonprofit sector.
AMERICAN RED CROSS (ARCC) is dedicated to making the community a safer place to live. They offer volunteer opportunities within the local community as well as the opportunity to become CPR/First Aid/AED certified.
C. J. MCLIN SCHOLARS encourages student’s personal growth through educational, social and community service activities. They serve as a vehicle for students to interact with each other and the entire university community.
COLLEGES AGAINST CANCER is dedicated to bringing cancer awareness and education to WSU, as well as raising money each year at Relay for Life to fund the research for a cure.
ENVIRONMENTAL ACTION GROUP (GANG GREEN) discusses current environmental issues on the campus and in the community. They improve recycling, lower energy consumption and help the campus go green.

GLOBAL HEALTH INITIATIVE facilitates medical students and doctors sharing medical experiences in other countries through activities such as presentations and gatherings. They also facilitate medical students going to other countries for medical electives.
GOLDEN KEY is the premier honor society, recognizing academic achievement of the top 15 percent of juniors, seniors and graduate students. They offer $500,000 in scholarships annually. WSU’s chapter presents many campus and community service opportunities to further enable personal growth and leadership development. MARCH OF DIMES raises money for families who have a child born premature or with birth defects.
PROJECT LINUS is a national nonprofit organization that makes handmade fleece tie blankets and donates them to children in need. Students at WSU have been involved with the organization for the past four years and have donated over 1,700 blankets to the Dayton community.
ST. VINCENT DEPAUL engages children with educational and constructive activities that instill academic achievement, as well as fun and excitement. They tutor homeless children in an after-school program at the SVdP Hotel.

SOCIAL WORK CLUB is devoted to advocacy, awareness and service. Club members work with local agencies to promote activities such as food and supply drives. Members also participate in the international ONE campaign.
STUDENTS PHILANTHROPY COUNCIL connects students to inspire peer-to-peer involvement in the philanthropic endeavors on campus. The council will be nationally renowned for its innovative approach to student fundraising initiatives through education, volunteerism, and successful giving programs/projects.
STUDENTS FOR ORGAN DONATION helps you save lives. Every day, 18 people die waiting for an organ transplant. Students for Organ Donation promotes saving lives through donation.
Service Learning
Service Learning is a great way to enhance your college career. Not only do you learn course objectives, but you get hands-on experience while getting involved in the community. Check out all of the cool and exciting things that are going on through the Office of Service Learning.
Learn about how to make a difference in Raider Country and the surrounding community by involvement in service learning projects, study abroad opportunities and student activities. You can join the ONE Campus Challenge and help WSU to No. 1 around the nation at fighting global poverty and HIV awareness.
