
AMERICAN SOCIETY OF MECHANICAL ENGINEERS provides an easy way for students to network with other mechanical engineering students. They hold regular meetings and do a technical tour of a local industry every quarter.

ASSOCIATION FOR COMPUTING MACHINERY (ACM) is for undergraduate and graduate students with interests in all aspects of computers and information processing. The student chapter sponsors lectures by distinguished speakers and site visits to technology companies. Club members have the opportunity to participate in the ACM International Collegiate Programming Contest and the ACM Student Research Competition.
BIOMEDICAL ENGINEERING SOCIETY (BMES) is for students interested in biomedical engineering and its concentration areas such as biomechanics and medical imaging. The club meets bi-weekly. Field trips and other on- and off-campus events are planned.

INSTITUTE FOR ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONICS ENGINEERS advances theory and practice of many branches of engineering and the members of the professions it serves.
NATIONAL SOCIETY OF BLACK ENGINEERS (NSBE) increases the number of culturally responsible engineers who excel academically, succeed professionally and positively impact the community through service, leadership and cultural diversity. NSBE is composed of more than 270 chapters on college and university campuses, 75 Alumni Extension chapters nationwide, and 75 Pre-College chapters.
