Leadership Event

Plan Your Journey
In the pioneering spirit of the Wright brothers and WSU, the Wilbur and Orville Wright Leadership Academy (WOWLA) engages innovative WSU community members who are committed to leadership, lifelong learning and service. The program values are based on the exemplary leadership abilities of WSU’s namesakes, Wilbur and Orville Wright.

Take Off on Flight 333
WOWLA offers three credited courses. During the three courses, there will be three topics covered, and the class will meet for three hours once a week. That is what Flight 333 is all about! All you have to do is register on WINGS.

• Take Flight Weekend is an intensive leadership experience for student leaders in significant organizational positions. The program is held during the summer and is based on the “Leadership Challenge.” This highly interactive weekend is designed to promote collaboration and shared leadership values for the upcoming year.
• Leader to Leader Conference is a day-long conference held in the winter quarter that is open to all students. It is a great opportunity to learn more about leadership for potential student organization leaders and those already in established roles. The conference is sponsored by Omicron Delta Kappa leadership honorary.

Celebrate Your Landing
They recognize outstanding emerging, established and advanced leaders every year in the spring quarter at the Leadership Recognition Reception.
