SG advocates for the interest of students. SG is committed to promoting student participation in the overall policy and decision-making processes of the university, to enhancing the quality and scope of education at the university, and to promoting the general welfare of the student body.

What Kind of Issues Does SG Take on Each Year?
SG tackles a variety of issues each year. Issues range from, but are not at all limited to, on-campus safety, advising within the individual colleges, parking and concerns that arise in the residential areas.

House of Representatives
The House of Representatives is a part of Student Government and is the governing body for student organizations on campus. They coordinate the efforts of student organizations in an effort to inform the student population of various activities that student organizations are planning, while encouraging and supporting co-sponsorship opportunities between student groups.
