University College is the academic home for virtually all first-year students.
Three goals drive University College:
• To provide new students with a successful transition to college life
• To support the academic success of first-year students
• To guide new students into their chosen major in a timely manner
University College comprises three units to achieve these goals:
• Academic Advising and Transfer Services (AATS)
• First Year Programs (FYP)
• Student Academic Success Center (SASC)
Opportunities for involvement include:
• Lead and learn as a Peer Instructor
• Provide valuable input to University College by serving on its Student Advisory Council
• Earn an income as a Student Employee
• Lend your expertise by becoming a Tutor
